Senior Implementation Consultant (Vena)

Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Implementation Consultant to join their organization. This is a Direct Hire role.

Responsibilities:

‍

• Provide regular status updates to the Technical/Project Lead and the client. You will create documentation and participate in project meetings.
• Drive implementation. You will be a primary resource and consultant through the full lifecycle of the solution. You will:
  • Gather client business requirements in partnership with the Project Lead.
  • Design an innovative solution using best practices and customizing for the client’s specific needs.
  • Make the granular design decisions around acquiring and loading data.
  • Be a hands-on SME advising, implementing, testing and training.
• Work closely with internal and external contacts to ensure we are delivering a tailored solution meeting client’s specification.
• Support and mentor the junior team members.
• Manage and foster strong client relationships, providing support to project kickoffs and ongoing implementations.
• Travel. You will reinforce our belief in face-to-face relationship building, traveling up to 20% of the time to client sites across North America.

Qualifications:

‍

• Project implementation expertise. You have 2+ years implementing Vena
• The technical skills. You have proven hands-on ability to build dimensions, cubes, ETL processes and write complex SQL queries. You are an Excel expert.
• The personality. You are ambitious, innovative and collaborative. You are consultative by nature.
• People management skills. You are passionate about mentoring and growing people and teams.
• The relationship building focus. You have exceptional written and oral communication skills. You are willing and able to travel across Canada and the US to work with our clients.
• The education. Candidates with university degrees in Computer Science, Accounting or Engineering are preferred but not required.
• Work Status. You are legally entitled to work in Canada.
