Our client is seeking a qualified Project Lead to join their growing company. This is a Direct Hire role.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate: Manage project timelines and budgets, providing regular status updates to clients. Create comprehensive documentation and lead project meetings.
  • Drive Implementation: Provide leadership throughout the entire lifecycle of the solution, from initiation to delivery.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with consultants to gather and understand client business requirements.
  • Solution Design: Design innovative solutions using best practices, tailored to meet the specific needs of the client.
  • Detailed Design Decisions: Make precise design decisions regarding business solution models.
  • Subject Expertise: Act as a hands-on SME, advising, implementing, testing, and training.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with internal and external contacts to deliver a customized solution that meets the client's specifications.
  • Mentor: Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage and nurture strong client relationships, providing support during project kickoffs and throughout ongoing     implementations.
  • Travel: Emphasize face-to-face relationship building by travelling up to 20% of the time to client sites across North America.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience managing the delivery of enterprise application solutions.
  • 4+ years of experience in enterprise applications or software Consulting Roles.
  • 4+ years of experience working with multi-dimensional models, SQL, and relational databases.
  • Proven ability to build dimensions, cubes, ETL processes, and write complex SQL queries.
  • Advanced Excel, with experience in EPM/CPM solutions (e.g., Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion Planning, CCH Tagetik, Vena Solutions, Prophix) being an asset.
  • Demonstrated ambition, innovation, and collaboration, with a consultative nature.
  • Strong passion for mentoring and developing people and teams.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel across Canada and the US to work with clients.
  • Degrees in Computer Science, Accounting, or Engineering are preferred but not required.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
