Automotive Service Technician

Our client is seeking a qualified Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join their organization. This is a Direct Hire role.

Responsibilities: 

‍

• Conducting diagnostics and repair work for incoming vehicle deliveries as well as current inventory.
• Work with our sales team and service coordinator to coordinate and schedule repairs and sub-contracted work.
• Ordering parts and managing inventory for the service department.
• Greeting customers and discussing their automotive repair needs and concerns.
• Providing customers with repair estimates and explaining the work that will be performed on their vehicles
• Advising on additional services and products to customers as needed.
• Communicating with customers throughout the repair process to keep them informed of progress and any changes to the repair plan.
• Handling customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

‍

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the field.
• Experience servicing domestic pickup trucks (e.g. Ford F150, GMC Sierra, Dodge RAM).
• Formal education including certification is highly desirable, but not required for the right candidate.
• Effective communication with customers, service technicians, and staff in-person, on phone, or through email.
• Ability to work independently and manage the entire shop.
• Ability to generate comprehensive work orders and invoices.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• A keen attention to detail and the ability to stay organized.
• An unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• A neat, clean, and professional appearance.
